West Liberty Picked Sixth in MEC Men’s Cross Country Preseason Poll

FAIRMONT, W.Va. — West Liberty University has been picked to finish sixth in the 2026 Mountain East Conference men's cross country preseason poll, as voted on by the league's 12 head coaches. The Hilltoppers received 67 points in the preseason voting, placing sixth among the conference's 12 men's cross country programs. The University of Charleston, the reigning MEC champion, was selected as the preseason favorite after receiving 10 first-place votes and 120 points.
