Beavers Take Down Victoria

VICTORIA, British Columbia – The Oregon State men's basketball team defeated defending Canada West Conference champions University of Victoria 104-70 Thursday evening in Victoria, B.C. The Beavers shot 55.2 percent from the floor in the game, including a blistering 80 percent in the fourth quarter. Chris Johnson led the Beavers with 24 points, four rebounds and four assists. Daniel Freitag recorded 14 points, seven rebounds, six assists and four steals. Josiah Lake II had 12 points and seven rebounds, while Legend Smiley finished with 11 points off the bench.
