Football Comets Open With Shutout Win

Jim Romack’s head football coaching career got off to a great start Friday night, as his Greenville Comets defeated North Mac 45-0 in a home contest. The Comets got off to a slow start on both sides of the ball, but slowly took control as the game went on. North Mac held the upper hand offensively in the first quarter, but had a touchdown pass negated on a penalty, and lost the ball on a bad snap deep in Comet territory.
