Women’s Soccer Suffers 2-0 Setback to ETSU on Sunday

ASHEVILLE, N.C. - UNC Asheville Women's Soccer suffered a 2-0 setback to visiting East Tennessee State at Greenwood Field on Sunday afternoon (Aug. 23). The teams played a tightly contested first half, with Asheville holding a 7-6 edge in shots in the period and a 2-1 edge in corner kicks. The teams would trade possessions and runs throughout the early part of the second half, before ETSU would strike for their first goal in the 69 th minute.
