OKLAHOMA CITY – No. 17 John Brown University men's soccer's Marco Brizuela earned Sooner Athletic Offensive Player of the Week honors for his game-winner this past week, the conference office announced Monday morning (Aug. 24). Brizuela, securing the first weekly honor of his career, becomes this first Sooner Athletic Offensive Player of the Week of the young 2026 season after netting the game-winning goal in the home opener against Benedictine (Kan.) on Aug. 20.
