Men’s Golf Places Third in MIAA Preseason Coaches Poll

The Hope College men’s golf team finished third in the 2026-27 MIAA Men’s Golf Preseason Coaches Poll, totaling 37 points in the eight-team ranking. Led by first-year head coach Caleb Nykamp ’12, the Flying Dutch aim to improve after recording a third-place finish last season with a team scoring average of 297.50. Junior Will Thomas of Portage, Michigan (Portage Central) leads the group of returning golfers after becoming a two-time All-MIAA honoree last season with a 75.17 average.
