Washburn volleyball tied for first in MIAA Preseason Coaches Poll

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Washburn volleyball was picked to finished tied for first in the MIAA Preseason Coaches Poll released by the conference office on Monday morning. The Ichabods finished in a tie for the top spot with Nebraska Kearney. Fresh off receiving a No. 8 national ranking in the AVCA poll a week ago, Washburn receives the most preseason first-place votes in the conference. Last season the Ichabods posted a 27-5 record going 13-3 during the MIAA regular season, sharing the conference regular season title.
