Jankans Named Defensive Player of the Week, Gonzalez Earns Newcomer Honors

Kaylen Jankans was named the SWAC Defensive Player of the Week, while freshman Jaleah Gonzalez earned Newcomer of the Week honors. Jankans anchored the Lady Tigers backline for all 90 minutes in Grambling State's 2-2 draw against Nicholls, helping limit the Colonels to 11 total shots.
