PREVIEW: Women’s Soccer Hosts SCSU Friday to Open 2026 Season

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – With a 17-day preseason now complete, the University of Bridgeport’s women’s soccer team is ready to officially kick off its 2026 campaign on Friday afternoon (Aug. 28). The Purple Knights will open the season at Knights Field against in-state rival Southern Connecticut State at 2 p.m. Friday’s opener begins a 17-game regular-season slate for UB, which will feature eight contests at the friendly confines of Knights Field.
