Big First Half Pushes Yale Past Northeastern, 2-0
BROOKLINE, Mass. – Paced by goals from Abigail Solomon and JoJo DeNegri , the Yale women’s soccer team opened its first of two road games this week in style, scoring twice in the first half en route to a 2-0 victory over Northeastern at Parsons Field on Thursday evening. The Bulldogs’ two scores marked the first time Northeastern has allowed a goal this season. Additionally, entering the matchup, the Huskies’ goalkeeper was one of just three in the nation with four clean sheets and had carried a 485-minute shutout streak dating back to last season.
