Cipolla Scores Twice As Redhawks Tie Thomas More In Season Opener

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Junior forward Sam Cipolla scored two goals in her Roberts Wesleyan University women's soccer debut as the Redhawks battled to a 2-2 tie with visiting Thomas More University in their season-opener on Thursday. Cipolla, who scored 41 goals in 28 games for Monroe Community College the past two seasons, converted a penalty kick after a handball in the box to tie the game at 1 in the 67 th minute.
