Mountie Freshman Lift Women’s Soccer to Season Opening Win

MANSFIELD, PA. – The Mansfield Mountaineers women's soccer team opened the 2026 season with a victory over the Salem Tigers by a score of 2-1. Freshmen Isabella Andrews and Addison Emenheiser each had a goal in their collegiate debuts. Emenheiser having a game high seven shot, with five on goal. Teagan Herbers had three shots. Aaliyah Stocks , Sybil Thompson , and Brynn Knepp each had a pair of shots. Angel Gulè had two saves in goal.
