Panther Profile – John Halverson
John Halverson , a sophomore on the Middlebury men’s ice hockey team, spent the first six years of his life in and out of hospitals battling intestinal malrotation, a birth condition in which a baby’s intestines do not rotate or position correctly in the abdomen during development. Overcoming this adversity instilled a key lesson: never take a moment in life, positive or negative, for granted.
