SAC Preseason Cross Country Poll and Runners to Watch Announced

WISE – The 2026 cross country season is just a few days away, and the South Atlantic Conference has released their Preseason Coaches Poll and Runners to Watch. Both teams placed ninth in the poll and the Runners to Watch for the Highland Cavs are Alexsis Porter , Shay Cannon , Dylan Colander , and Patton Shortt . Wingate was picked to finish first in both polls. On the men’s side Anderson was second, followed by Catawba, Lincoln Memorial, Lenoir-Rhyne, and Emory & Henry.
