Tarleton State falls at home to UTRGV

STEPHENVILLE, Texas – The Texans led in nearly every category except for the one that counts the most, as they fell to UTRGV at home on Thursday night 1-0. Tarleton State (0-2-2) dropped its first ever match against the Vaqueros (2-2-0) in the fifth straight season of matchups, now 3-1-1. The Texans outshot UTRGV 19-5, with eight shots on goal, had a 7-1 corner kick advantage, plus were called for five fouls to the Vaqueros' 13. UTRGV even had three yellow cards on the match compared to Tarleton State's one, but the Texans couldn't get one through the Vaquero goalkeeper....
