Volleyball opens 2026 with four-set win at D’Youville

BUFFALO, N.Y. - The Lock Haven volleyball team kicked off its 2026 season on Thursday night by competing on day one of the D'Youville Tournament and took down the host D'Youville 3-1 in convincing fashion. Lock Haven (1-0) claimed the match by set scores of 25-20, 17-25, 25-22 and 25-19. Avery Smith led Lock Haven's attack with a match-high 10 kills and hit .333 on 24 attempts.
