Four ‘Cats notch NFHCA Watchlist Honors Ahead of 2026 Season

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO. — Villanova field hockey landed four players on this year’s NFHCA Division 1 Watchlist for the upcoming 2026 season as announced on Thursday. Forward Ava Borkowski, Forward Aimee Largoza, Defender Gemma Lysaght and Defender Molly Zimmerman each were selected by the NFCA as potential players to watch for weekly, regional and national awards throughout the season. For Borkowski, Lysaght and Zimmerman this marks their second consecutive season with being selected for the honor while this is Largoza’s first nomination.
