Mountain Lions take down Kentucky State, Georgetown to open season

FRANKFORT, Ky. | The Young Harris College volleyball team opened its season with a pair of victories Friday (Aug. 28) at the Kentucky State University tournament, taking down Kentucky State and Georgetown College (Ky.) in four sets to start the year 2-0. The Mountain Lions opened the day with a 3-1 win over host Kentucky State. After dropping the opening set 25-21, Young Harris responded by taking the next three sets 25-14, 25-22, and 25-21.
