Pete Cavender to Retire From Bronco Radio Network

BOISE, Idaho – Pete Cavender will retire from his position as the gameday color analyst for Bronco Radio Network after serving in the role for 17 seasons, he announced jointly with Boise State Athletics on Wednesday. Michael Callahan, a former defensive tackle for the Blue and Orange (2020-24), will serve as the new color analyst for the radio broadcasts this season after Cavender steps away. Cavender will remain on the call for the first two games of Boise State’s 2026 campaign. His final game, the 221st of his career, will be on Sept. 12 in the home opener against Memphis.…
