Stampeders QB Vernon Adams Jr. out vs. Tiger-Cats, Josh Love to start

The Calgary Stampeders won't have their star quarterback for their Week 13 contest. Vernon Adams Jr. will miss Saturday's home game against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats with a head injury after being listed as limited in practice all week. Josh Love, 29, who joined the Stamps last season, was placed atop the depth chart released Friday and will make his first career start. Adams Jr. was injured in Calgary's last game on Aug. 13 when he hit his head on the turf following a rush against the B.C. Lions.
