Bruins Hold Off Women’s Volleyball In Rematch At Pauley Pavilion

LOS ANGELES – In a rematch up the road from opening night, Long Beach State again pushed UCLA, but the Bruins were able to hold off Women’s Volleyball for a second straight night, winning in straight sets, 25-21, 30-28, 25-16, in Pauley Pavilion. Long Beach State (0-2) were led by sophomore Sidney Hamaker , who finished with a match-high-tying 13 kills on .267 hitting.
