Cowgirls Close Out Weekend With Sweep Of Sul Ross State

Gunnison, Colorado - New Mexico Highlands volleyball closed the Virginia Harris/Jeanie Miller Invitational with its first win of the season Saturday, sweeping Sul Ross State after falling to Southwestern Oklahoma State earlier in the day at Paul Wright Gymnasium. The Cowgirls finished the opening weekend 1-3. New Mexico Highlands opened Saturday with a 25-20, 25-17, 25-16 loss to Southwestern Oklahoma State.
