Gophers Sweep No. 13 Creighton

The No. 14 University of Minnesota volleyball team earned a 3-0 sweep over No. 13 Creighton today as part of the State Farm Volleyball Showcase in Sioux Falls, S.D. Minnesota won 25-18, 25-23, 25-12 and earned its first win of the season. Minnesota and Creighton are both 1-1 on the season. Mckenna Wucherer led the Gophers with 10 kills, followed by Elena Hoecke with a career-high seven kills and five blocks in her young Gopher career. She also hit.500 in her first career start.
