Humboldt Falls in Final Minute to CUI

ARCATA, Calif. – Cal Poly Humboldt women’s soccer fell 3-2 to Concordia University Irvine Saturday afternoon at College Creek Field in their final match of the Humboldt Kickoff Classic. The Lumberjacks held a pair of second-half leads before the Golden Eagles scored twice in the final six minutes, including the match winner with less than a minute remaining. The teams played to a scoreless first half despite Humboldt controlling much of the attacking play.
