Lumberjacks Sweep UCCS to Close Oredigger Volleyball Classic

GOLDEN, Colo. – Cal Poly Humboldt volleyball closed the Oredigger Volleyball Classic with its second consecutive victory Saturday morning, sweeping UCCS 3-0 inside Lockridge Arena. The Lumberjacks prevailed in three tightly contested sets, 26-24, 25-23 and 25-22. The teams traded points throughout an opening set that featured 11 ties and three lead changes. UCCS took a 17-16 advantage before Humboldt responded with back-to-back points to regain the lead.
