POINT LOMA PICKS UP FIRST WIN OF THE SEASON

(DENVER) PLNU Women's Soccer bounced back from its season-opening loss to conclude its Colorado trip with a resounding 3-1 victory over Metro State. Emma Naftzger , Maddy Saruwatari and Priya Torres scored to give the Sea Lions their first victory of the young season. Naftzger scored for the second time in as many games to start the year, putting PLNU in front in the 24th minute. Saruwatari then doubled the Sea Lions' lead before the half, scoring with just 54 seconds remaining in the opening 45 minutes to give Point Loma a 2-0 halftime advantage. Metro State got one back...
