Vikings Take a Three-Set Loss to Newberry

WILSON, NC - The Vikings (1-2) returned to the court with a three-set loss to the Newberry Wolves (3-0), Saturday afternoon. The team recorded a solid overall performance in the match, but they came up short in the 23-25, 15-25, and 21-25 loss. The loss came in spite of a solid overall effort by the Vikings. The team had a tough time against the Wolves defense, totaling 24 kills in the match. Junior Cami Mitrovich led the Vikings' attack with six kills in the match.
