MEN’S SOCCER IS DEFEATED BY WHEELING

WHEELING, WV: The Walsh University Men's Soccer team took on the the Wheeling University Cardinals on Sunday afternoon, falling 3-1. The Cavaliers played to a scoreless draw through the first half. Wheeling responded with three goals to Walsh's one to secure the victory. The Cardinals held a 15-4 advantage in shots despite the 0-0 score at the end of the first 45 minutes. Nick Bertolini kept the Cavs in the match with five saves in the opening half. The second half opened with Wheeling finding the back of the net in the 53rd minute, giving the Cardinals a 1-0 advantage....
