Panthers come up short in a 49-30 loss to Tarleton State in inaugural Chancellor’s Cup

STEPHENVILLE, Texas — Prairie View A&M fell 49-30 to Tarleton State on the road Saturday night. Tevin Carter led Prairie View A&M’s passing attack with 309 yards through the air, tossing one touchdown without throwing an interception. The signal caller also added 130 yards and one touchdown on the ground. In addition to Carter’s effort, Chase Bingmon paced the Panthers rushing attack by accumulating 36 yards and one touchdown over the course of the game. Bingmon also tacked on 40 receiving yards.
