Soccer caps off undefeated August with 2-1 win against SEMO

FLORENCE, Ala. (August 30, 2026) – The University of North Alabama women’s soccer team earned a 2-1 win over SEMO on Sunday afternoon at the Cox Creek Sports Complex to complete an undefeated August. North Alabama (3-0-1) used a first half goal from midfielder Monica Yoder in the 14th minute to equalize the game, 1-1. Captain Charlotte Sobotka scored her first goal of the season in the 63rd minute, which became the game-winner.
