UTD Defeats East Bay 3-1

RICHARDSON, Texas – The UT Dallas men’s soccer team picked up its first win of the season, defeating Cal State East Bay 3-1 at the UTD Soccer Field Saturday night. The Comets (1-0-1) opened the scoring in the 16th minute when Osi Iyamah’s pass connected with Avery Brazzell on a breakaway run. The Pioneers (0-2) tied the game on a free kick by Jeffers Parada in the 50th minute. Seb Martinez gave UTD the lead in the 66th minute after a sprint down the right side of the field.
