Beacons Suffer First Defeat at Hands of Bearcats

SALEM, Ore. – The Bushnell women's soccer team was handed their first loss of the season on Sunday evening, falling to Willamette University in a non-conference clash, 3-1. After a scoreless first half, Bushnell was able to get on the board first when Anela Leslie (pictured) posted an unassisted goal just three minutes into the second period. The Bearcats responded quickly however, as less than a minute later WU's Haleigh Seeling and Samantha Rodriguez connected for the first of three times.
