Biery named NSIC Defensive Player of the Week

BURNSVILLE, MN – Creating chaos that led directly to two University of Mary touchdowns in a season-opening win, senior Travis Biery is the Northern Sun Football Defensive Player of the Week. The defensive lineman from Sauk Rapids, MN, had two sacks, forced a fumble and made six tackles in the Marauders 23-10 win over Rocky Mountain College. Both of Biery's sacks came on third down plays.
