Catamount Football Enters National Rankings at No. 24 in Media Poll

Cullowhee, N.C. – Western Carolina football entered the national rankings this week in two of the three major FCS polls released Monday, debuting at No. 24 in the Stats Perform FCS Top 25 and No. 25 in the FCS Nation Radio Top 25. The Catamounts (1-0) are also receiving votes in the AFCA FCS Coaches Poll, sitting just outside the Top 25. The Southern Conference placed three teams in this week’s Stats Perform FCS Top 25.
