Former NHLer Calle Jarnkrok signs three-year contract in Sweden

A veteran depth player is heading overseas. On Monday, Brynäs IF of the Swedish Hockey League announced that the club has signed forward Calle Jarnkrok to a three-year contract, which will carry through the 2028-29 season. Jarnkrok returns home to Sweden after spending the past 13 seasons in the NHL. He’s been part of the Toronto Maple Leafs since joining the Original Six franchise as a free agent in July 2022.
