Padilla Named SLC Setter of the Week

FRISCO, Texas — Nicholls State University senior setter Isabella Padilla was named Southland Conference Setter of the Week as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon. Padilla had a great week passing the ball as she dished 97 assists which was the third most by a setter in the SLC. She helped the Colonels post a .270 hitting percentage which ranks first amongst the SLC. The Medellin, Colombia native began the season with 33 assists, seven digs, and two service aces, and two kills in a five-set victory over Stonehill.
