Report: Canada’s Jonathan David joins Atletico Madrid on loan from Juventus

Another Canadian is on his way to La Liga. Striker Jonathan David is set to join Atletico Madrid from Juventus on a season-long loan deal with a buy option, soccer insider Fabrizio Romano reported Monday. According to Romano, the deal will have a 25 million Euro (C$40.2 million) non-mandatory buy option once the loan comes to an end at the end of the season in June 2027.
