Voting is now open for The Jackson Sun's Jackson area high school boys athlete of the week from Aug. 24-29. The poll closes Sept. 3 at 4 p.m. The nominees are: DK Woods, Crockett County: Woods rushed for 162 yards on 13 carries and four touchdowns in a 62-0 victory over Ripley. Jeri Driver, Halls: Driver ran the ball 21 times for 149 yards and three touchdowns in a 28-17 victory over Tipton-Rosemary Academy.
