Women’s Volleyball Falls to San Diego in Wahine Classic Finale

HONOLULU — The University of Hawai’i women’s volleyball team closed out the Hawaiian Airlines Wahine Volleyball Classic with a three-set loss to San Diego on Sunday at Bankoh Arena at Stan Sheriff Center. Coming off a five-set battle with No. 21 Baylor on Saturday, the Rainbow Wahine fell behind early in each set, and the Toreros closed the tournament with a 25-16, 25-17, 25-18 win.
