Adams State Volleyball Pushes Nationally Ranked Angelo State to Four Sets in Home Opener

ALAMOSA, Colorado — The Adams State University volleyball team battled one of the nation’s top teams Tuesday evening inside Plachy Hall, taking Angelo State to four competitive sets before falling 3-1 in its home opener. The Grizzlies dropped the match by scores of 25-21, 25-17, 30-32 and 25-23, moving to 1-4 overall on the young season. Angelo State entered the match undefeated at 5-0, but Adams State challenged the Rams throughout the night.
