Andrade Named CCAA Defensive Player of the Week

ARCATA, Calif. - Cal Poly Humboldt sophomore libero Elizabeth Jade Andrade has been named the CCAA Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week, the conference and FloCollege announced Tuesday, following her standout performance at the season-opening Oredigger Volleyball Classic in Golden, Colo. Andrade anchored Humboldt's back row across all three matches of the tournament, finishing with 53 digs for a 4.82 per-set average over 11 sets. That mark ranks second in the CCAA.
