Calvin’s Lana Moore Claims Medalist Honors With Record-Setting Round at Calvin-Hope Kickoff Challenge

SAUGATUCK, Mich. – The Calvin women’s golf team opened its 2026-27 campaign with the annual Calvin-Hope Kickoff Challenge Tuesday afternoon at the Clearbrook Golf Club. Freshman Lana Moore (Rockford, Mich./Rockford HS) highlighted the afternoon for the Knights by earning medalist honors with a round of 75, one ahead of Kylie Gernaat of Hope. Her winning score matched a school record for low score at Clearbrook Golf Club and low score for a first collegiate round at Calvin.
