Comeback Effort Falls Short for Women’s Soccer against Transylvania

DELAWARE, Ohio – The Ohio Wesleyan University women’s soccer team (0-1, 0-0 NCAC) hosted Transylvania (1-0, 0-0 HCAC) for the first game of the 2026 season on Tuesday night. The Bishops faced a 2-0 deficit at the break but battled back in the second half to pull within one and push for a draw or better. Unfortunately, the chances would not come to fruition in the final six minutes, leaving OWU with a 2-1 losing decision.
