Giovenco Leads Hawkeyes in Season Opener at Boilermaker Classic

Women’s Golf September 01, 2026 The University of Iowa women’s golf team finished 11th at the season-opening Boilermaker Classic, led by Paige Giovenco’s tie for 36th in her Hawkeye debut. WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – The University of Iowa women’s golf team finished 11th at the season-opening Boilermaker Classic on Tuesday at the Kampen-Cosler Course. The Hawkeyes closed with a final-round 304 for a 54-hole total of 912 (300-308-304). Paige Giovenco led Iowa in her Hawkeye debut, tying for 36th with an 11-over-par 227 (74-78-75).
