Gronbeck earns 2nd; Wolverines take 5th Monday

NEW CASTLE, Pa. — The Grove City College men’s golf team opened its 2026-27 season Monday afternoon by taking fifth place at the 15-team Westminster Invitational, held at Avalon Field Club. Grove City finished the day with a team score of 326. Junior Luke Gronbeck (Gibsonia, Pa./Eden Christian) helped lead the Wolverines by earning second place on the individual leaderboard. Gronbeck shot a 74 on the par-72 course.
