Marauders beat Northwest, 41-38, in season-opener

The varsity football team opened its season with a 41-38 overtime win over Justin Northwest on Friday night at Marauder Stadium. Senior running back Andrew Emmert rushed for 67 yards and scored four touchdowns. Emmert got Marcus on the board first with a 13-yard touchdown run with 51 seconds left in the first quarter. Northwest quickly answered when quarterback Mark Hartman connected with Elijah Hawkins for a 35-yard touchdown.
