Mike McCarthy Confirms Joey Porter Jr. Beginning To ‘Ramp Up’ For Practice Return

Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Joey Porter Jr. is hitting the practice field for the first time all year. Activated off Active/PUP on Sunday, head coach Mike McCarthy told reporters Porter was set to begin “ramp up” work with teammates during Tuesday’s practice. Tuesday’s session was a walkthrough and closed to the media, making it difficult to gauge exactly how much work Porter got in.
