SCSU Women’s Soccer Downs Post, 7-0, In Home Opener

NEW HAVEN, Conn. — Southern Connecticut State women’s soccer opened its home slate in dominant fashion Monday night, rolling past Post University 7-0 at Jess Dow Field. The Owls improved to 1-0-1 on the season, while Post fell to 0-2-0. Elizabeth Bishop and Frida Norret each scored twice to lead Southern while Norret added two assists. Five different players found the back of the net as Southern Connecticut outshot Post, 29-2, and put 19 shots on target.
