Some Twin Counties football teams start Week 3 a day early

Week Three of the high school football season begins a day early for many Twin Counties football teams due to the Labor Day weekend. There are five games on the schedule for Thursday night: Nash Central at Rocky Mount, Cleveland at Northern Nash, Havelock at Tarboro, North East Carolina Prep at Hobgood Charter and Harrells Christian Academy at Faith Christian Academy.
