Thiele Named Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Week

LA JOLLA, Calif. — The Pac-12 announced UC San Diego men’s soccer’s Nic Thiele as the conference’s Defensive Player of the Week today after the Triton goalkeeper earned a pair of road shutouts last week. Thiele made two saves at Houston Christian on Thursday before registering six at Air Force on Sunday. UC San Diego won both contests 1-0.
